Das erste „Transformers“-Review bei AICN ist gewohnt fanboyig, lässt aber genau das erwarten, auf was man gehofft hat: Kick Ass Riesenroboter-Action.
So to sum this all up: This is a Michael Bay movie. Make no mistake about it. You can see influences from Spielberg and a conscious effort to make this not just a blow em up bang bang movie (although I would have been fine with that). The last 30 minutes is non-stop robot destruction- I honestly couldn’t tell you everything that happened because it was just so damn awesome I had a hard time even keeping up- i almost wish I hadn’t seen it….because now I have to wait TWO MORE FUCKING MONTHS TO SEE IT AGAIN…explosions, destruction, robots flying through the air, shooting missiles and rockets from their arms- absolute insanity on city streets. This is what I wanted to see out of this movie. There are some things that you may shake your head at or roll your eyes during, but when you see the goods, the stuff WE ALL want to see, you let the other stuff slide.

Wie ich mich nach dieser Review auf diesen Film freu. Tausend mal mehr, als nach dem Trailer.

Ich kann diese AICN-Reviews nicht ausstehen. Jeder zweite Film ist der beste aller Zeiten, hinter jeden Satz kommen mindestens 3 Ausrufezeichen und wenn Harry Knowles den Regisseur eines Films persönlich kennt, wird auch Dreck wie Hostel vorauseilend zum Filmklassiker erklärt. Ganz große Scheiße die Seite.

Da bin ich mit Herrn Loser mal einer Meinung. AICN ist zu 90%-Gedöns und ledigliche eine Spinmachine der Filmindustrie, die den Geeks Goodie-Bröckchen hinwirft, damit die freudig Promo für sie machen.
Und der Satz der einem wirklich Angst machen sollte ist: “This is a Michael Bay movie. Make no mistake about it.”
Michael “Fucking” Bay der in seiner ganzen dämlichen Karriere noch keinen einzigen guten Streifen abgeliefert hat. Und jetzt produziert er nach dem verkackten “Hitcher”-Remake auch noch eine Neufassung von “Die Vögel”. Nuff said.
