Nicht der MadMax-Schöpfer, sondern ein anderer Miller dreht den Horrorfilm „Prey“, dem ungefähr das selbe Konzept wie „Wolf Creek“ zugrunde liegt, also ein typischer Outback-Slasher wird, dafür aber eindeutig die sexieren Argumente hat:

In April of 1987, two North Americans disappeared in the West Australian desert on a 4WD holiday. They were never seen alive again. Their abandoned vehicles and totally unused supplies were found in sand dunes near an Aboriginal sacred site–less than an hour away from the closest town. Two years later, in May of 1989, the two men were both found dead of natural causes, on the same day, 1000 miles apart back in North America.
This May 2007, twenty years after the original incident, TOP CAT FILMS and iconic director George Miller commence production of the story of 3 couples who set out into the same desert and unluckily end up in the same area, at the same time of year, with disastrous results.

Ich wollts auch grad sagen: Aber nicht das Videospiel Prey…
Ich hatte da ja erstmal an das Michael-Crichton-Buch gedacht, aber da kommt keine Kettensäge vor, soweit ich mich erinnern kann. Wundert mich, dass ob dieses Filmtitels nicht schon Heerscharen von Copyright-Anwälten bei denen auf der Matte stehen…
