Robert Rodriguez hat auf der ComicCon die Gerüchte bestätigt, dass die kommende Verfilmung des Fake-Trailers eine Trilogie wird.
In the Red Sonja panel Robert Rodriguez confirmed that a full Machete trilogy is in the works. The titles are: Machete, Machete Kills and Machete Kills Again! Robert gave no solid date on when we can expect to see the films but actually offered up an interesting bit of information. Apparently he has had the script for Machete in the can for years, and even stole some scenes from the script for Once Upon A Time In Mexico. When asked to do a fake trailer, he simply threw one together from the script that he already had in the can. He and Rose McGowan then joked that Danny calls every week to see what is up with Machete! (Movieblog)

Mir ist letztens etwas lustiges aufgefallen: in Spy-Kids spielt Danny Trejo ja den Onkel. Der heißt Machete. Zufall?
Auf Machete freue ich mich schon richtig.

cool! irgendwie bereue ich’s nicht zum Rodriguez panel gegangen zu sein – aber Red Sonja hat mich halt überhaupt nicht interessiert und Afro Samurai ist mein lieblings-anime (Rodriguez panle lief etwas vor Afro Samurai – da stand ich schon in der langen schlange…).

Wow das ist die beste News seit langen, wird bestimmt eine einmalige Triologie, schon die Namen sind göttlich ^^
so viel wie robert rofriguez machen will schafft der doch in hundert jahren nicht… sin city 2, barbarella, machete, red sonya, women in chains… und ich hab bestimmt noch was vergessen
Ich hoffe mal , dass die Teile wenigstens alle in Abständen von einem Monat rein kommen wie das bei Grindhouse der Fall war.
Sonst wird es echt zermürbernd.
