Auf der Comic Con hat Sam Raimi Gerüchte um einen weiteren „Evil Dead“-Film bestätigt beziehungsweise ganz einfach bekanntgegeben, dass er einen weiteren Teil drehen will. Nicht mehr, nicht weniger. Er ist zwar nichts weiter, als eine Willensbekundung und da er noch nichtmal mit dem Drehbuchschreiben angefangen hat, dürfte es noch eine ganze Weile dauern, bis Ash auf der Leinwand wieder seine Motorsäge schwingt, aber fuck: Evil Dead 4! Hell, yeeeeeah!

While speaking at the San Diego Comic-Con panel for his upcoming horror film, Drag Me To Hell, Raimi said that he’d love to do another Evil Dead film with actor Bruce Campbell and that he’d like to start working on it next week with his brother Ivan Raimi.
“I love working with Bruce Campbell and he’s like Allison [Lohman, star of Raimi’s Drag Me To Hell]. He’s super willing to do anything to make it right. He’s a very funny guy, but mostly he’s got this quality where he will physically do anything to get the shot done right, so I would love to work with Bruce again because I’d love to test those limits. I’d love to make another Evil Dead picture. And actually that’s in the wheelhouse. I’d like to work on it with my brother Ivan [Raimi] when he comes up next week.“ (Geeks of Doom)

    das Reboot ist ohne Bruce weil Campbell keinen teenager mehr mit seinem alter spielen kann der 4er warschinlich mit Bruce :D weils ne fortsetzung ist

    hm irgendwie eine komische idee nen 4 teil zu drehen und gleichzeitig das remake zu machen….

    Stand 2005:

There WILL be an ‘Evil Dead 4′. Sam tells Bloody Disgusting, “There will be an Evil Dead 4, and there will ALSO be an Evil Dead Remake. The remake will be produced by Ghost House pictures and it will star a new cast and a completely new director. The point of Ghost House is that we want to bring new directors to Hollywood and give them a chance to make a good horror film. I love the original ‘Dawn of the Dead’, and I also really enjoyed the new ‘Dawn of the Dead’. I mean, they are both really great horror films. I want to let somebody with a fresh vision bring The Evil Dead to a new generation and a new audience with a different vision.” The interview also confirms that the Evil Dead remake will actually feature elements from both Evil Dead 1 and Evil Dead 2. Raimi himself will be directing ‘Evil Dead 4′ with Bruce Campbell returning as Ash. Raimi added “This is the project I really want to make. The remake can belong to someone else, but part 4 will be a continuation of the original”.”

It was also said that the movie would be about a group of teenagers that go to the cabin and find the book, and the similarities with the original would end there.[9]

    oh mann es gibt so viele Gerüchte um Evil Dead 4.
    Ernsthaft wenn Evil Dead 4 im Kino rauskommt werde ich mit meinen Freunden am ersten Tag hingehen und hoffen dass er meine Erwartungen erfüllt.

    Aber ein Remake von Evil Dead zu machen find ich bescheuert.
    Egal wie man es sieht Remakes sind schlechte Sachen.
    Mir persönlich hat der erste Teil sehr gut gefallen.
    Ich würde kein Remake von meinem eigenen Film machen nur weil der Film nicht die beste Qualität oder überholte Spezialeffekte hat (ich find das die Effekte in dem Original immer noch Hammer sind).

    Der zweite Film war ehrlichgesagt noch besser als der erste Teil obwohl die ersten 10 Minuten eine Nacherzählung vom 1.Teil sind. Der Film hat einen Haufen von lustigen Szenen, die Hammer sind. :)

    Und der 3.Film (Armee der Finsternis) war lustig, actionreich und episch.
    Also, kein bisschen wie der erste Teil. Aber das ist egal denn wer will schon immer wieder die selbe Scheiße sehen. Nun das einzige was mich aufregt ist das es 2 Enden gibt.

    Am Ende will ich nur Evil Dead (oder wie es in Deutschland bekannt ist “Tanz der Teufel”) Teil 4. Und ich glaube ich weiß wie sie es nennen können, wie wärs mit:
    THE FINAL EVIL DEAD

    Das wär Hammer! :)
