#backflick ist eine Internet-Meme, die grade bei Twitter stattfindet und da dass hier ein Filmblog ist, erkläre ich mal kurz, was eine Meme ist: Quasi eine Idee, die bei vielen Leuten zündet und durch die Blogs wandert, dort geremixed und gemasht und neu interpretiert wird, das ganze viele tausend Male. Bekannte Memes sind die Rickroll (kein Link, hihi) oder auch der Dramatic Chipmunk. Soviel dazu.

Die Meme Backflick erzählt nun Filme nach, nur rückwärts. Das Ganze fand seinen Anfang vor drei Tagen auf Reddit: „If you watch the movie ‘Jaws’ backwards, it’s a movie about a shark that keeps throwing up people until they have to open a beach.“ Dort zählt man derzeit über 1000 Kommentare und von hier ab wird es unglaublich großartig. Aus den Comments:

If you watch LOST backwards you realize it’s the same thing as if you would watch if forward.

If you watch Rambo backwards, it’s Sylvester Stallone healing people with his magical bullet vacuum.

If you watch Scarface backwards, it’s about a man who gives up cocaine and crime to follow his dream of becoming a dishwasher to earn enough money so he can visit Cuba.

Oder auch diese beiden Comments, traumhaft:

If you watch Fight Club backwards, you see Ed Norton turn from a crazy streetperson into a successful productive member of society.

If you watch American History X backwards, you see Ed Norton turn from a successful productive member of society into a crazy streetperson.

Oder:

If you watch the Internet backwards its a story about how a huge population of idiots was overthrown by a small group of highly intelligent and sexless geeks.

Der war jetzt zwar nicht Film-related, aber trotzdem großartig. Hier noch ein paar, danach müsst Ihr selber lesen. Fantastische Idee, gibt’s mittlerweile auch mit Games.

Wall-E: evil robot exiles humanity to space, breaks up with his girlfriend, trashes earth in fury.

    Diese Backwards geschichten verfolge ich auch seitdem ein Bekannter mir diese vor ein paar Tagen an den Kopf warf.

    Mein Favorit zu den Games:
    “Earthbound: Ness has an acid trip, goes to bed.”
    Jetzt würde ich natürlich gerne wieder Earthbound spielen.

    Bei den Filmen kann ich mich noch nicht entscheiden.
