Über Carriers hatte ich schonmal im Januar gebloggt (der Trailer dort ist offline mittlerweile), damals hatte der Film von 2007 immer noch kein Release Date und es sah ziemlich schlecht für den wirklich schick aussehenden Film aus. Good News everyone! In Amerika läuft der Film im September 2009 an und er hat ein neues Poster und einen neuen Trailer verpasst bekommen. Ob und wann der hier bei uns läuft, kann ich allerdings nicht sagen. Hier der Plot via Horror Movies:
A deadly virus has spread across the globe. Contagion is everywhere, no one is safe and no one can be trusted. Four young attractive people race through the back roads of the American West to the pounding beat of a vacation soundtrack. Their aim is to retreat to secluded utopian beach in the Gulf of Mexico, where they could peacefully wait out the pandemic and survive the apocalyptic disease.
CARRIERS follow their getaway through a surreal and dangerous world where laws and rules no longer apply. Their plans takes a grim turn when their car breaks down on an isolated road starting a chain of events that will seal the fate of each of them in an inexorable and horrifying voyage of hell through a western landscape populated by only the hideous dead or the twisted living. Their desperate retreat south turns into a deadly battle against infected children, homicidal doctors, crazed survivalists, rabid dogs, and, finally each other. The virus is the least of their problems as horrible choices must be made in the face of lost humanity.

aber irgendwie glaube ich,dass diese Szenen schon alles waren,der ganze Film…..mehr gibt es an Spannung nicht!-.-

hab den trailer nach der hälfte ausgemacht und denke trotzdem, den kompletten film gesehen zu haben… super
man kann sich auch nischt mehr angucken…
ach ja, die sache mit den attraktiven leute ist so billig, dass man kotzen möchte. kein mensch will ein auto voller “fugly people” sehen, aber junge sexy mäuschen bringens auch nicht.

Dem Film wird’s wohl geholfen haben, dass Chris Pine mit “Star Trek” mittlerweile einen Megaerfolg vorzuweisen hat. Ansonsten erinnert mich das stark an “28 Days later”.

stb274 bringt´s auf den Punkt: Nach Sichtung des Trailers werde ich für den (eigentlich interessanten) Film wohl leider kein Geld ausgeben da man ja die Schlüsselszenen (bis auf das Ende) bereits gesehen hat. Wer solche Trailer produziert sollte sich nen anderen Job suchen….
