Horrormovies.ca hat erste Entwürfe des Monsters aus dem Creature from the Black Lagoon-Remake.
“At this moment, I have some idea which direction they’re going in, but as of now, it’s still ongoing and we’ll have to see what the outcome of this will be. These are my ideas that are both traditional and freshened up, without destroying the classic original.
We also did a version that was an exact replica of the original creature as a model to give them a full idea where we are going from, and what improvements we can make and the possibilities of what the Creature could look like. Whatever happens I feel very confident that whichever direction Universal goes in will be the right one.”

Das ist mal ein Film, der wirklich ein Remake vertragen kann. Der alte Film ist zwar gut, aber wenn mans richtig macht, kann ein Remake wirklich noch besser werden.
Ich finds mal schön zu sehen, dass man sich sehr am Original orientiert. Endlich mal was anderes, als diese sture “Wir müssen jetzt unbedingt alles ganz ganz anders machen!”-Mentalität von vielen Remakes der letzten Zeit.
Bin sehr gespannt und freue mich richtig.
Interessant, dass dieser Film zum zweiten mal in einer 3D-Film-Zeit entsteht. Weiß jemand, ob der hier auch in 3D geplant ist, wie das Original?
