Hier der neue Trailer zu einer weiteren existenzialistischen Komödie mit Ben Stiller: Greenberg. Ich kann die Tennenbaumardenstatedingenskirchenklone zwar nicht mehr sehen, aber das hier hat irgendwas. Wahrscheinlich ist daran aber nur der Song „All my friends“ von LCD Soundsystems schuld, der ist nämlich superfantastisch, weshalb ich das Video zum Track hier auch nochmal mit reinnehme, erstmal der Plot (also, nicht vom Song, sondern vom Film):
Greenberg (Ben Stiller) is at a crossroads in his life. Out of a job and none too interested in finding one, he agrees to housesit for his younger and more successful brother, thereby getting a free place to stay in Los Angeles. Once settled in, Greenberg sets out to reconnect with his old friend and former bandmate Ivan (Rhys Ifans). But times have changed, and old friends arent necessarily still best friends, so Greenberg finds himself spending more and more time instead with his brothers personal assistant Florence (Greta Gerwig), an aspiring singer and herself something of a lost soul. As their relationship develops through a series of embarrassingly awkward romantic encounters, even someone as irascible as Greenberg might have at last found a reason to be happy.

… puh… hatte mich auf was LUSTIGES gefasst gemacht… als ich Komödie las… allerhöchstens doch ne Dramödie – oder etwa nicht? ^_~
… sieht mir aber trotzdem gut aus!
bitte nochmal the Royal Tenenbaums gucken, falls du das da als Klon einstufst.
Erinnert mich ja vom Plot her eher an About a Boy, nur dass es keinen kleinen Jungen gibt.
Seh da jetzt, bis auf Ben Stiller, auch nicht so die Paralellen zu Royal Tenenbaums, zu Garden State schon eher.
