Hier der erste Trailer zu M. Night Shyamalans Apokalypsenfilm „After Earth“ mit Papa und Sohn Smith, Drehbuch kommt von Gary Whitta und Stephen Gaghan, den Leuten hinter Book of Eli und Traffic. Sieht gut aus, aber ich trau Shyamalan spätestens nach den Gräsern des Grauens nicht mehr über den Weg.

Hier der Trailer zu Joseph Kosinskis (Tron: Legacy) „Oblivion“ mit Tom Cruise, Morgan Freeman und Olga Kurylenko. Ich find’s ja nett, wie sie Kosinski zu sowas wie einer Regie-Ikone hochjazzen wollen („an original and groundbreaking cinematic event from the director of TRON“), dabei hat der Mann außer circa 5 Jahre zu spät gekommenen Designs und Tron praktisch nichts gemacht, und auch das hier sieht mir nach einer Menge heißer Luft aus, genau wie schon Tron 2. Aber mal sehen.

Hier der komplette Trailer zu „World War Z“. Sieht nicht ganz so schlimm aus, wie ich befürchtet habe und ich mag den Scope und die Totalen. Aber die „WTF ZOMBIE WAVES“ sehen immer noch scheiße aus.

Entertainment Tonight mit ersten Bildern aus der Verfilmung von Max Brooks „World War Z“. Normalerweise bringe ich Trailer-Trailer nicht, aber Ausnahmen bestätigen ja die Regel und hier muss ich zwei Dinge anmerken: 1.) Max Brooks „World War Z“ ist ziemlich überschätztes Mittelmaß. 2.) WTF Wave Of Running Zombies? Look like Crap, actually.

Hier der Evil Dead-Trailer in guter Qualität, die leider eine ziemlich newschool-generische Optik offenbart, die man in der Bootleg-Version zwar bereits erahnen konnte, die aber noch nicht so offensichtlich war. Ich bin trotzdem leicht optimistisch.

Hier der erste US-Trailer zu „Holy Motors“ von Leos Carax (Die Liebenden von Pont Neuf, Boy meets Girl). Der Film ist, glaube ich, derjenige, der mir dieses Jahr am allermeisten empfohlen wurde und über den ich so gut wie nichts weiß. Der Trailer sieht auf eine tolle Art sehr merkwürdig aus, der Plot liest sich wie Chuck Palaniuk auf Acid und ich bin sehr, sehr gespannt – der Film läuft seit Ende August in Deutschland, hier ein Kino-Finder für den Film.

The Story of Anvil) mit Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren, Scarlett Johansson, Toni Collette, Jessica Biel und James D’Arcy. Sieht großartig aus, muss man sehen: „HITCHCOCK is a love story about one of the most influential filmmakers of the last century, Alfred Hitchcock, and his wife and partner Alma Reville. The film takes place during the making of Hitchcock’s seminal movie PSYCHO.“

Hier der erste Trailer zur kommenden Shining-Doku „Room 237“. Der Trailer sagt praktisch so gar nichts aus, mal abgesehen davon, dass es um Shining geht. Ansehen werde ich mir den Film aber dennoch und zwar definitiv.

Movie 43 ist eine Comedy-Anthologie von Peter Farrelly und ein paar Gastregisseuren, unter anderem Elizabeth Banks, Patrik Forsberg, James Gunn und Brett Ratner. Ich weiß nicht, ob ich mir das antun will (vor allem nach der Vollkatastrophe The Three Stooges), aber die Cast ist… beeindruckend.

Hier der erste Trailer zum neuen Gore Verbinski/Johnny Depp-Vehikel „The Lone Ranger“. Interessiert mich persönlich so rein gar nicht, ich konnte mit dem Stoff allerdings auch noch nie etwas anfangen.

Hier der Trailer zu „Stoker“ von Park Chan-wook (Oldboy), der damit sein Hollywood-Debut abliefert. Sieht mir etwas angestrengt, aber auch nicht uninteressant aus. Mal sehen.

Nach rund zwanzig Jahren seit dem letzten Nukem High jetzt endlich der vor Ewigkeiten angekündigte vierte Teil. Typischer anarchischer Troma Splattespaß. Übrigens laden Troma seit ein paar Wochen ihren kompletten Katalog bei Youtube hoch, leider nur geschnittene Fassungen, soweit ich gesehen habe. Auf Tromadance hat Lloyd Kauffman einen Spendenbutton, da kann man sich dafür bedanken.

Toller Trailer zu Michel Gondrys neuem Film „The We And The I“, der die Storys auf der letzten Busfahrt einer Reihe Highschool-Kids aus der Bronx erzählt. Der Film hatte im Mai Premiere in Cannes und läuft seit einer Woche in Frankreich in den Kinos, ein Deutschlandstart ist (natürlich) nicht geplant. Was eine Schande ist, denn ich halte das Konzept für ziemlich gandios. Die Bewertung auf IMDB lässt allerdings bereits darauf schließen, dass „The We and the I“ auf Filmlänge dann doch nicht hält, was er verspricht. Ansehen werde ich mir den allerdings definitiv, alleine schon als Gegengift zur Hollywood-Einheitsgrütze.
