Hier der letzte Parody Trailer zu The Muppets. Man ist fast ein bisschen traurig, dass der Film bald startet und es keine Fake-Trailer mehr geben wird. Menno.

Sehr schicke Poster und Trailer zu ParaNorman von Studio Laika, die bereits bei CaroCoraline gezaubert haben, dürfte ganz ganz toll werden, hier der Plot: „When a small town comes under siege by zombies, who can it call? Only misunderstood local boy Norman, who is able to speak with the dead. In addition to the zombies, he’ll have to take on ghosts, witches and, worst, of all, grown-ups, to save his town from a centuries-old curse. But this young ghoul whisperer may find his paranormal activities pushed to their otherworldly limits.“

Der Dr. Seuss-Kram ging ja immer an mir vorbei, aber der Trailer zu „The Lorax“ sieht gut aus und ein Film mit Polyphonic Spree im Soundtrack kann eigentlich nur gut werden.

Die ersten beiden Clips für die französische Serienverfilmung der Comicsserie Heavy Metal hatte ich im Februar hier gebloggt, jetzt gibt es einen richtigen Teaser. Überzeugt mich leider nicht so richtig, aber das ist auch noch lange nicht fertigproduziert: Die Serie startet im Oktober 2012 und bei Heavy Metal besteht für mich ohnehin Anschaupflicht, wird definitiv geguckt.

Hier der Trailer zu „Re-Kill“, einem billigen Z-Zombiefilm, der ziemlich unbeholfen geschnitten und editiert ist. Aber ich sehe da ein paar recht originelle Ideen, die dem Thema tatsächlich etwas Neues abgewinnen können und der Film könnte ziemlich viel Spaß machen, auf so ‘ne trashige Art. Wie und wann und ob der überhaupt je bei uns rauskommt ist natürlich fraglich. Wie auch immer, hier der Plot:

It’s been 5 years since the outbreak that wiped out 85% of the world’s population, but the war between Re-Animates (Re-Ans) and Humans wages on. Most of the major cities are still uninhabitable. Within the few surviving cities, the Re-Ans have been segregated into “zones” and are policed by the R-Division of the QUASI S.W.A.T. Unit who hunt to re-kill the Re-Ans in the hope of quelling a second outbreak.

“R-Division, Frontline” is America’s #1 TV show in this Post-Apocalyptic world. Weekly, the show follows different R-Division units on the battlefield as they work to keep America Safe and Re-An free. Jimmy, the videographer for the Outbreak Network, thought this week’s episode would be like every other. He was wrong. Through the lens of his eyes and camera, we see raw, revealed and uncut, that which could be mankind’s last day.

Gut gelaunter Trailer zum neuen Aardman-Animationsfilm „The Pirates! Band of Misfits“, hier der Plot: „The Pirate Captain and his crew of swashbuckling pirates attempt to beat his rivals Black Bellamy and Cutlass Liz in the Pirate of the Year Award. On their quest they battle Queen Victoria and meet a young Charles Darwin.“

Trailer zur neuen Dokumentation von Werner Herzog (seine aktuelle, der großartige “Die Höhle der vergessenen Träume” in 3D, läuft ab dem 3. November in unseren Kinos). Für “Into the Abyss” hat es Herzog nach Texas verschlagen, wo er zwei zum Tode verurteilte Gefangene sowie Polizisten und Familienmitglieder zu einem Mordfall interviewt. Die US-Kritiken überschlagen sich geradezu, aber so oder so gilt für Herzog Anschaupflicht.

In intimate conversations and through the life stories of those involved, including 28-year-old death row inmate Michael Perry (who was scheduled to die eight days after his interview with Herzog), Herzog’s investigation in the film unveils layers of humanity, making an enlightening trip out of ominous territory.

Der erste offizielle Kinotrailer zum Horrorthriller “11-11-11″ von Darren Lynn Bousman (Saw II-IV, Repo!, Mother’s Day). Den ganzen Teufelshorrorquark finde ich mittlerweile nur noch Abtörn. Konnte im Trailer jedenfalls nichts entdecken, das halbwegs interessant oder originell aussah.

An author travels to Barcelona to see his estranged brother and dying father, where he learns that his life is plagued by events that occur at 11:11.

“The ABCs of Death” vereint 26 Horrorkurzfilme von so unterschiedlichen wie interessanten FilmemacherInnen wie Ti West (dem aktuellen Genreliebling), Angela Bettis, Ben Wheatley, Yoshihiro Nishimura, Jake West oder Hélène Cattet. Im Red-Band-Teaser wird schon mal gut gemanscht.

Trailer zur Wiederveröffentlichung von George Lucas’ nachweislich wunderbarem ersten Teil der Prequel-Trilogie in 3D im Frühjahr 2012. Ich hoffe aber im Kino wird das nicht so aussehen wie im Trailer (gelbes Colorgrading, das der Film sonst nicht hat). PS: 95% der Menschen haben Episode I nicht verstanden und dann kurioserweise Episode II den Vorzug gegeben – ein Rezeptionsirrtum, der sich innerhalb der Filmgeschichte irgendwann einmal von selbst korrigieren wird.

Sehr schöner Trailer zu „Chronicle“, inszeniert von Josh Trank, geschrieben von Max Landis (der Sohn von John Landis). Wird wahrscheinlich nicht ganz so originell wie „Super“, sieht aber dennoch sehr gut aus. Bin gespannt.

Three high school students and friends make an incredible discovery, leading to them developing uncanny superpowers beyond their understanding. As they learn to control their abilities, and initially use them to their advantage, their lives start to spin out of control, and their darker sides soon begin to take over.

Hier der erste Teaser zum nächsten Fish’n'Chips-Melodram von John Gulager (Feast) mit Matt Bush, Gary Busey, Katrina Bowden, Christopher Lloyd, Ving Rhames, Paul Scheer und David Hasselhoff. Wird natürlich ganz großes Kino.


Hostel3Direkt / via

Ganz still und heimlich und unter Ausschluss zumindest der Kino-Öffentlichkeit setzt Sony den “Hostel”-Franchise Direct to Video fort. Ohne Beteiligung von Eli Roth, dem Regisseur des komplett missratenen ersten, aber auch grandiosen zweiten Films, verlegt “Hostel: Part III” die Handlung nach Las Vegas und wurde vom einstigen Raimi-Weggefährten Scott Spiegel inszeniert (der mit “Intruder” aka. “Bloodnight” einen der ulkigsten Slasherfilme aller Zeiten drehte). Der Trailer ist aber leider ziemlich blöd.

Hier der UK-Trailer zu „The Woman in Black“ mit Daniel Radcliffe als Geisterjäger. Schöner klassischer Horrorstoff mit Geistern ohne Wackelcam- oder Found Footage-Schnickschnack. Sieht gut aus.
