Schöner Trailer zur neuen Doku von Errol Morris (Fog or War), ein Film über die frühere Miss Wyoming Joyce McKinney, die 1977 beschuldigt wurde, einen Mormonen entführt und drei Tage lang vergewaltigt zu haben. Woraus sich eine Story aus Boulevard, geklonten Hunden und Unterwäsche.

JJ Abrams hatte für „Super 8“ wieder seine Viralmaschine angeworfen, die ich schon länger als eher ermüdend und langweilig empfinde. Wie auch immer, Abrams verschickte kurze Filmschnipsel (tatsächlich auf Super 8) an Websites, die zusammengefügt obigen Clip ergaben und der erste Bilder von Alien-Technologie und dem Alien beinhaltet. Trailer zum dänischen Kurzfilm “Nothing Can Touch Me” (“Intet kan røre mig”) von Milad Alami, der Teil eines dänischen Filmförderungsprojekts ist, das Studenten für ihren Abschlussfilm einen Kinostart garantiert. “Nothing Can Touch Me” ist ein weiterer Film über Amokläufe an Schulen.

The outsider Katrine survives a school shooting and is the only one to see who the shooter is. The hunt for the boy begins, and slowly Katrine realizes that she has more in common with him than any of her other classmates.

Trailer zur norwegischen Komödie “Happy, Happy” (Originaltitel: “Sykt lykkelig”). Inhalt: Sex. Erinnert mich vom Look her ein bisschen an “En terrains connus”.

Trailer (bzw. eigentlich mehr ein Teaser) zu “Wrong Turn 4: Bloody Beginnings”. Hatte damals nur den ersten gesehen, den ich als saftigen Backwood-Slasher in Erinnerung habe und mochte. Die DTV-Sequels gingen dann irgendwie an mir vorbei, auf jeden Fall sieht’s gut blutig aus.

Ganz frisch und extra von Renington drauf aufmerksam gemacht: Der erste Trailer zu Twilight 4.1! Sieht gut aus. Regie führt Bill Condon (der u.a. den großartigen “Gods and Monsters” gedreht hat), die Musik stammt wieder vom Komponisten des ersten Films, Carter Burwell, was ich nach den fantastischen Scores von Howard Shore und Alexandre Desplat etwas schade finde.

Und das Wichtigste natürlich: Die obligatorische Trailer Reaction von nuttymadam!!! (die diesmal auch in Finalstimmung ist und ihre ja nicht gerade zurückhaltenden früheren Videos noch mal mit Leichtigkeit unterbietet toppt)

Nix Bollywood, sondern der Trailer zum indischen Drama “Kshay” (aka. “Corrode”), dem Regiedebüt von Karan Gour, gedreht in schwarzweiß und 2.55:1.

Kshay revolves around the personification of an obsession, fueled by nothing more than intangible desires. Chhaya is a simple housewife who has an artistic bent of mind and a seemingly happy life with her husband Arvind. Money trickles in every month and life goes on for an unassuming Chhaya, until her eyes catch hold of an unfinished sculpture of the Hindu Goddess, Lakshmi.

Her values and relationships as she knows them begin to decay day by day, surrendering to the clutches of an ugly obsession that feeds on her weaknesses and past disappointments. She must have the “Lakshmi”, as if to make up for all that she has yearned for in her life.

Trailer zum Politthriller “The Whistleblower” mit Rachel Weisz, Vanessa Redgrave, Monica Bellucci und David Strathairn. Weisz hängt sich wohl ziemlich rein, aber der Trailer macht einen sehr unscheinbaren und austauschbaren Eindruck, finde ich.
