YT Direktplus, via Badass Digest

Hier der Trailer zu Bryan Singers Webserie H+, in der eine Technologie durchdreht, die die Hirne der Menschen 24/7 ans Internet anschließt. Die Serie hat am 8. August Premiere auf Youtube, ob sie auch in Deutschland zu sehen ist, weiß ich nicht. H+ sieht mir ‘ne Spur zu glatt aus, aber ich mag die Story und finde das Format spannend. Werde ich mal im Auge behalten.

Nachdem sich niemand erklären kann was sich Jesse Eisenberg dabei gedacht hat nach “The Social Network” so einen Ranz wie “30 Minutes or Less” zu machen, ist er jetzt mit etwas, was tatsächlich ganz unterhaltsam aussieht.

Eisenberg spielt ein Klavier-Genie, der seine Mutter in den Entzug einweisen will. Blöderweise wird er von ihrem Dealer (Tracy Morgan) als Geisel genommen. Sieht mir wie einer dieser Filme aus, bei denen man mit einer Träne und leichtem Lächeln aus dem Kino geht. Hoffen wir das Beste!

Noch ein neuer Trailer zum Total Recall-Remake, diesmal auch mit dreibusiger Hure. Sieht nicht mehr ganz so doof aus, aber wirklich gut ist was anderes.

Toller, witziger, sehr sympathischer Trailer zu „The Sessions“ von Ben Levin über die wahre Geschichte des Mark O’Brien, der mit Polio gelähmt einen großen Teil seines Lebens seit seiner Kindheit in der eisernen Lunge verbrachte, nun Mitte Dreißig endlich seine Jungfräulichkeit verlieren will.

Aus irgendeinem Grund hat Mark O’Brien keinen Wikipedia-Eintrag, aber ich habe einen Nachruf auf Salon.com aus dem Jahr 1999 gefunden:

O’Brien’s special gift, I suspect, was his heart-stopping honesty. He wrote an article for a book of mine about sex and disability (“CripZen: A Manual for Survival”), and I felt his personal revelations — about masturbation — were dandy but, well, a bit too personal. I asked if he didn’t want to use a pseudonym. He wouldn’t hear of it.

The paragraph about looking at himself in the mirror always struck me as being one of the most poignant in all of disabled literature:

Holding it so that I could see myself, Cheryl asked what I thought of the man in the mirror. I said that I was surprised I looked so normal, that I wasn’t the horribly twisted and cadaverous figure I had always imagined myself to be.

Trailer zum neuen Spike Lee über ‘nen Teenager, der seine Ferien bei seinem Priester-Großvater in Brooklyn verbringt. Mag ich sehr, den Trailer (auch wenn da irgendwas mit der Tonspur nicht stimmt, pls ignore.)

The latest in Spike Lee’s Chronicles of Brooklyn anthology–which also includes “She’s Gotta Have It” (1986), “Do The Right Thing” (1989), “Crooklyn” (1994), “Clockers” (1995), and “He Got Game” (1998)–RED HOOK SUMMER tells the story of Flik Royale (Jules Brown), a sullen young boy from middle-class Atlanta who has come to spend the summer with his deeply religious grandfather, Bishop Enoch Rouse (Clarke Peters), in the housing projects of Red Hook.

Having never met before, things quickly get off on the wrong foot as Bishop Enoch relentlessly attempts to convert Flik into a follower of Jesus Christ. Between his grandfather’s constant preaching and the culture shock of inner-city life, Flik’s summer appears to be a total disaster–until he meets Chazz Morningstar (Toni Lysaith), a pretty girl his age, who shows Flik the brighter side of Brooklyn. Through her love and the love of his grandfather, Flik begins to realize that the world is a lot bigger, and perhaps a lot better, than he’d ever imagined.

Der Trailer scheint mir einigermaßen vielversprechend. Umso verwunderlicher finde ich, dass der Film im Dezember 2012/Januar 2013 direkt auf DVD und Blu-ray veröffentlicht wird.

Die Geschichte in Kürze:
Im Jahre 2042 steht Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) im Dienste einer kriminellen Organisation aus der Zukunft. Als ihm eines Tages sein eigenes Ich aus dem Jahr 2072 (Bruce Willis) vor die Flinte gerät, geht sein Leben endgültig den Bach runter. Joe gegen Joe gegen die Frage nach Vorherbestimmung oder Veränderbarkeit der Zukunft. Ich bin gespannt, allerdings noch nicht aus den Socken gehauen:

Hier der Trailer zu „Epic“ mit (in Sprechrollen) unter anderem Beyoncé Knowles, Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Johnny Knoxville und Steven Tyler nach dem Kinderbuch „The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs“ von William Joyce. Irgendwas mit kleinen Menschen, ist wahrscheinlich sogar ein bisschen interessanter, als ich grade annehme. Sonntagsnachmittagsfutter.

Schöner Trailer zum SciFi-Drama „Robot & Frank“ mit Frank Langella und Susan Sarandon um einen entlassenen Dieb, der mit seinem neuen Roboter auf Diebestour geht. Regie führte Jake Schreier, der unter anderem einen Spot für’s iPhone auf dem Konto hat. Sieht man, meine ich nicht unbedingt negativ.

Set in the near future, an ex-jewel thief receives a gift from his daughter: a robot butler programmed to look after him. But soon the two companions try their luck as a heist team.

Nachdem ich mich nicht traute den ersten Trailer anzuschauen, habe ich es mal beim zweiten Trailer gewagt. Und bereut. Ich glaube, ich habe selten so ein schlechtes Gefühl bei einem Trailer gehabt, wie bei V/H/S. Ich muss mir jetzt sofort einen Disneyfilm anschauen. Oder irgendeine romantische Komödie mit Drew Barrymore..!

Hier der Trailer zum Kostümschinken „Anna Karenina“ mit Keira Knightley und Jude Law. Ich steh’ ja manchmal auf sowas und hab’ mir „Gone with the Wind“ auf BluRay gekauft. Jawohl, sowas geht, auch wenn man alle – und ich meine alle! – Zombie-Filme dreimal gesehen hat.

Hier der Plot und das Poster: „The story unfolds in its original late-19th-century Russia high-society setting and powerfully explores the capacity for love that surges through the human heart, from the passion between adulterers to the bond between a mother and her children. As Anna (Knightley) questions her happiness, change comes to her family, friends, and community.“

Dank der Kleinen habe ich in den letzten Jahren wahrscheinlich alle romantische Komödien gesehen, die rausgebracht wurden. Manche sogar zwei Mal. Eine Handvoll vielleicht sogar ohne Androhung körperlicher Schmerzen. Beim Trailer zu “Celeste and Jesse Forever” habe ich das gute Gefühl, dass es mal wieder einen freiwilligen Besuch im Kino der Gefühle geben wird. Das legt jetzt ganz sicher nicht nur an Andy Samberg, aber doch so ein kleines bisschen.

“Celeste and Jesse Forever” erzählt die Geschichte eines Paars (Rashida Jones und Andy Samberg), das während der High School zusammen kam, kurz danach geheiratet haben und sich mit 30 scheiden lassen. Kein Grund deswegen gleich aufeinander loszugehen, sondern vielmehr die Gelegenheit beste Freunde zu bleiben. Wie es aber manchmal der Fall ist, wenn Mann und Frau befreundet sind: Einer der beiden beginnt zu zweifeln und es kommt wie es kommen muss:

Erster Trailer zur neuen Verfilmung von Judge Dredd. Haut mich nicht vom Hocker, muss aber als SciFi- und Comicverfilmungs-Kompletist natürlich angesehen werden.

Dredd takes place on a fictional Earth created as a result of the Atomic Wars. Survivors of this period are living in Mega-Cities, which protects its citizens from the Cursed Earth, a radioactive desert environment populated by mutants. The main story takes place in Mega-City One, where the police who are now called judges have the power to use police brutality to some extent to fight extreme murders. One man, Judge Dredd (Karl Urban), a senior law enforcement officer, teams up with a cadet called Judge Anderson (Olivia Thirlby) to track down a terrorist organization lead by Ma-Ma (Lena Headey), who is responsible for selling a reality-altering drug called Slo-Mo.

Schöner Trailer, werde ich mir alleine wegen Richard „Moss“ Ayoades Hollywood-Debut ansehen müssen: „Suburban dads who form a neighborhood watch group as a way to get out of their day-to-day family routines find themselves defending the Earth from an alien invasion.“

Trailer zum Sequel des rassistischen Drecksfilms „96 Hours“, den ich heimlich als Guilty Pleasure schaue, weil er als reiner Actionfilm ganz gut funktioniert (so ähnlich wie „Die rote Flut“). „Your mother is going to be taken.“ Oh my.

Hier der erste Teaser zum zweiten Pixar Monsterfilm. Wird natürlich wie alles von Pixar ein ganz großer Spaß.
